I read somewhere that the vn v6 had the same amount of power if not more then the OLD v8s that Holden used... Not sure if it's true that's why I said almost. That and a thrashed v8 on it's last legs has to have less power then a good v6.

it had more power than the stock vl 308, the 304 on the other hand is much more powerful

ok my bad i thought the vn got the 304 and vl was 308. ill change it to this then vn 304 is more powerful stock v stock. What did they do to the 304 between the vl and vn for the extra like 40kw?

i really dont understand why so many people seem to think its a 308 just because its carby :-/ ... i tried telling my cousin this (he has a v8 vl calais) he blew the 304 up and put an older kingswood 308 in it, i didnt think that was legal but it got passed at the RTA so who knows

Quick question for someone, what heads were on the VL carby 304? I'm assuming they were old style, if so there's another difference. The EFI heads flow better than the carby heads.

Iv seen a stock vp clubsport 180kw get beaten by a v6 manger with diff gears, shifty, extractors and exhaust. Thats y i said should get u beating stock 5l!!!!!!!!!

If 3.45 go alright 3.70 would go sweet. And if not could always get 3.88 or 4.11 from a r31 skyline.
