Dudes it's all good, I really appreciate your help. What I don't get is last night on the way home it had nice crisp changes in 2nd when cold. Drove it hard a about 10 times from the lights and it was fine, then once the trans oil heated up (well thats all I can think of that would have changed) it started slipping.

Looks like it's off to the trans specialist for a drive.

thanks again, this is a top forum keep it up.

i agree but remember also wasting about $500 on a recon one when u dont need to sounds like a bit of a waste too.
where are you going to get a reco gear box from? no chance, service it if its no better then dont trash it and it may last longer. if not they you need a new one about $1200-$2000

I got a new Tranny and about 1 month ago got a new throttle body fitted and this guy moved my accelerator cable to much and it played havoc with my shifts, So then we needed to adjust my kick down cable to get the shifts right again, You be shocked how as little as 1mm movement in the kick down can throw everything out, You could have a little play with that and see, When i was adjusting myn i hit the biggest empty car park and drove up and down till it changed fine, But unfortunately it's not as good as it was before so I'm a little cheesed with my mate for stuffing with things.
