VP V8 into VS V6 Statesman

VS STATESMAN V8
Hello im new here but here go's The problem I am having is now the VP V8 is in the VS statesman there was a prob with wiring there are 2 clips on drivers side up at fire wall right in the corner 1 clip mached colors the lot its a big grey clip the other diff but we pushed foward we found 12v ecm supply at this clip also injector power x2 wires red and red black but the are about 3 more im unsure about can anyone help with this.
PS. On the VP the clips come out right near relays due to the water bottle being at firewall, same thing one cliped matched grey again and other did not but a lot lines up.
Please help

Mate sounds like you need wiring diagrams,one for the VS and one for a VP.Someone here might know what colour wires are what.The gregorys workshop manuals have an ok wiring diagram.Also you could try google for the diagrams.Thats probably your best bet.cheers

or you could get a VR/VS 5.0 V8 wiring loom for the motor.. it will plug straight in to your vs loom, VN and VP looms are different, you will need a VR/VS dizzy aswell as the wiring plug is different on your vp one to the VR/VS loom everything else should just plug in then.

I think you might also find you will need a VS (not VR ) V8 ECU. As the security features of the VS Stato BCM will not allow the car to start. The VR loom is also different to the VS Loom, the conections you are speaking about are there but if you get a VR Loom you just have to go colour to colour on the connectors and cut and rejoin.
