Vs 304 problem

So I just picked up a vs wagon 304, all factory. Wasn’t running, was broken down in town so I just gave the guy some cash and towed it home,
So checked the main stuff, had spark. But had no fuel.
So I had a L67 pump sitting there. (Assuming they are ok for 5 litres)
Put that in, bang, we have plenty of fuel.
It fired straight up, ran like absolute crap for about 20 seconds, died, then it has no spark....
I put a been IGN module on it, now has healthy spark through all cylinders. Coil is giving off a healthy spark. Getting plenty of fuel. But no firing at all.
Anyone know what the problem could be?

Which 2 holes are supposed to be 5 and 6?

1 flash, 1 second pause, 2 flashes

You should always get the 12 flashes first.

12 will flash 3 times, then if any error codes, will flash after that.

What has the previous owner done to it?

OK so I don't know if this is an issue, fuel is 100% going into the main line, injectors are pulsing, but nothing is coming back through the return line. Is that an issue?

What has the previous owner done to it?

All are good. No idea what previous owner has done. Was running perfectly fine and just died on him. I'm assuming it was fuel pump as pump was stuffed when I got it. But apparently there is more problems
