I'm sure we have all (or most of us) seen ads that say "first to see will buy".

Well after 3 days being listed, nearly 1,000 views and 3 enquiries, the first to see did buy.

The old girl is now in the custody of someone else after nearly 19 years.

The purchaser rocked up with a couple of mates.....went over the car with a fine tooth comb.....took them for a drive and deal done.

The good thing is that they are car guys and really appreciate the condition of the old girl.

So mixed emotions but at least I have the comfort that she has gone to someone that will appreciate her and hopefully look after her.....and I have a chunk of cash in my pocket with a pretty easy sale experience.

Happy days.....sort of.

Its sad to see a car you've had for so long go but at least it went to a good home with a fairly easy sale.
