VS Berlina 1995 V6 4spd Auto...stalling issue!! :(

wat does it sound like to u heath? electrical or fuel? does it splutter at all and jerk around or does it just die and start slowing down?

Only other thing I could think of is the coil pack is about to die

yea could be that. but like i said we went thru 2 new pumps b4 the mechanic noticed soil in the tank

Better to flush the tank the pump and the entire fuel system

The mechanic said they installed a 2nd hand DFI module could that be the main cause? they alread replaced hte pump, crank angle sensor, harmonic balancer, major service....but they didnt change hte leads, rocker cover needs fixing the vally gasket needs replacing soon..man my ca has so many issues since i bought it of that guy

Got an update on the stalling issue....the mechanic has her now as we speak....they emptyd out the tank and turns out theres chunks of rust blocking the hole where the fuel is meant to go. so they cleaning the tank as we speak....im hoping that will stop the stalling for good

The injectors may need flushing and so the lines

The so call mechanic has no idea of the setup of the fuel system,The pump has a filter so I doubt that is the issue, seems like more money going down the drain.
The pump sits in the swirl pot which has a filter, which stops things like rust getting in.
