Just be careful with the fuel lines as well. The usual.

i put a couple of nice fat juicy earth cables onto my battery and it helped the startup speed....

# one from negative to body (replace the current pencil thin cable with a big fat heavy lug)

# and another from negative to engine (where heater bolt is that currently has an earth ring bolted)

started with a click of a finger. also clean up battery terminals even put new ones on

I'll second that, if after all the obvious things, earth cables are what I would be checking. I had mine go and originally thought it was a $300 starter motor. Was earth cables worth substantially less...

Just an update on this guys, today I had the chance to replace the fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator with brand new items and also put in a new fuel filter and the starting problems are gone. Fires straight away now.
