Lets not forget people, you are NOT supposed to be driving and drinking at the same time, thats why they are only small in the glove box, only meant to LOCATE your drink when parking or at the drive in, I have no idea why some cars come out with deep cup holders though, same thing as a mobile phone, if a cop sees you drinking a drink while driving, they could fine you

as the guy before said, the street commodores magazine has a good DIY section for a hidden cupholder. it comes with step by step instructions and very good pictures.

it only has the one cupholder though i think, but it looks very professional

dont know why they took them out of the original design
