Vs Senator - How Many Were Made?

i still think the vs senator is the best looking commodore made, i saw on in a showroom when they first came out and decided i wanted one, took me awhile but now i do.

could have bought a vt/vx ss for what i paid for mine it would have been newer and had gen 3 but i wanted my senator.

Im not sure if this helps but I had a VS S2 Senator and the build number on the dash (if thats what is is) was 956. Have pics if ya want to see them. But yes, I think they are the best looking. Mine was grey, full leather with factory electric sunroof. Very nice! Speaking of which, if anyone is selling a set of the factory 17 in Senator rims i'd be happy to take them off your hands.

i have a VS S/2 185i with PATHER MICA paint & coulson full leather interior.
i am having problems getting it insured as they claim these 2 are NOT standard...which I KNOW they are!
I have been told thatthe PANTHER MICA 185i with the coulson are not commodore based, they are berlina based muscle cars?????????? And that they are RARE?
I was just wondering how i find this info out????? & if you have 1...who is your insurer please
