As this question covers VS to VZ, I’ve posted this here, and after searching the forums I haven’t found the answer.

this should be a simple question, hopefully……

can you reuse, reprogram a previously used key fob to a different bcm?

I am asking this as I’m replacing the bcm in my Ute to a mid level bcm and as my Ute bcm key fob is working, I was wondering if I can reprogram the fob to the mid lvl bcm.

I replaced my mid bcm with a lux bcm on my vt.
I used the same key fob.
Don't remember much about it, except having the lux bcm linked to the pcm.
