It's interesting you guys get away with doing mods like that, would never pass inspection here which we need to do every 12 months (or 6 months anything pre 2000). The brake booster we get way with because it looks "stock" but adding different calipers with spacer brakes wouldn't get passed unless it's been inspected and certified by the relevant specialists.

This is the bracket I have, push rod length doesn't need adjustment, just drilling out.

It pushes the booster out slightly further into the engine bay.

I think on some cars the booster is quite close to the drivers side valve cover …4.9 litre 308s have a clearance cutout so it doesn’t touch and installing the booster even means taking the valve cover off.
I found the shaft of the booster is actually 14mm in diameter so you know what I did ….cut the shaft off a stuffed booster and ran a 14mm x 1.5 die down both ends …just to see how it looks …then I got a barrel nut from Bunnings and fitted it on …never tried the idea on a running car but it needs a locknut somewhere
