VT S1 Clock Spring Compatibility question

Hey guys, another newbie question here.

I'm interested in replacing the clock spring in my VT S1, in order to install steering wheel audio controls.
Only question I haven't managed to find an answer for is, is the Clock Spring from a VT Series 2 or VX compatible with a VT Series 1?

I broke out my VT Tech Disc but sadly it didn't seem to help me with this one.

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, they are the same.
