Any black spots on the foam will be an indication of water coming through. You can't get original carpets anymore except aftermarket ones as I've looked around. It's always better to err on checking about rather than finding out the hard way like I did.

There's an original used carpet on eBay that looks ok that's in Melton. Just needs a good clean.

Hey guys got some updates, got some more brake stuff for the ute, still waiting to get some loctite and new diff bolts (doing it the proper way), however the misses VX blow another radiator hose, so will be fixing that tomorrow has well has the manifold gasket for it. also sold the front bar to a mate so ute has no front atm.







^however the ute and misses VX will be getting some goodies next month, just scored a VX sedan parts off a mate for $500, be swapping things over for the ute and sedan etc.

Good score on the VX parts. Your missus' VX looks pretty good.

Yeah has a few issues, just blew the top radiator has.again though, and trans is slow, think old seller abruised it a bit, be swapping the motor and trans from the parts vx when get it, be putting the panels on the ute, will repaint them latee on, has well has other little things like seat belts, dash surround, wipers etc.
