Driving home last night, I got my big clod hopper stuck under the pedal briefly whilst squirming around in the seat. I went to punch the pedal again and....no pedal :D

Got home and found the pedal has a spring-loaded hinged portion below its pivot point (this car had been set up for a dis-abled driver). I checked the VS and it just has a normal one-piece pedal assembly.

Can someone please tell me whether VXs have this feature as standard :)

VH, the vx's do have a spring loaded hinged pin at the back of the accelerator pedal.

Yes it is a standard feature.

Ouch!

Thanks...what a trap for those with (ergghh) larger feet....I'd even say its dangerous....I might investigate changing it to an older one-piece version.
