I know this is not in the right section, But wold rather consult with an existing thread on this...
Currently trying to chase a dash fault code via the obd2 connector... Except my ls1 2004 WL caprice does not have pin 6?
Does anyone know of this setup ?

As described in the previous posts, you can't use this method with LSx V8 engines, you need to have a scan tool.

1361 ? fault

Hi All,
My VX had the engine warning light come on just after I started it this afternoon. I switched it off and restarted the engine, the warning light has cleared as ususal since, but it's giving a 1,3,6,1 code repeating, any ideas what this code might be?

I am getting a flash of 10.1.2.2 and 10.3.4.2. The problem is all of the lists of fault codes work off of two digits, so which two do we look at? Is this a fault also?

You must be reading it wrong. The first flash(es) indicates lots of ten, so 1 flash is 10, 2 flashes is 20 etc. The second lot of flashes are singles, so 1 flash followed by a short pause and then 2 flashes equals 12. Each code is displayed 3 times with a longer pause before it moves on to the next code. When all the codes have been displayed it will flash code 12 again.

Everyone you are reading the codes wrong!
On the VX Commodore its a 4 digit code not a 2 digit code like the vt commodore v6

So what i mean is if there is a fault code it wont be displayed as 2 digits like the vt commodore.

So Commodoreluc you are getting 10.1.2.2

This is 0122 which equals to throttle position signal to low.

If every thing is ok 10.10.1.2

this is 0012 code means ok.
