Hi there, my '02 VX was recently hit while parked on the street.
Luckily there wasn't any major damage apart from the side indicator housing/bulb.
I ordered a pair of new side indicator 'housings' and bulbs, unfortunately however when attempting to replace the damaged part I learnt that the force from the impact also appears to have damaged the contacts in the bulb 'connector' (picture of contacts attached). It's hard to see in the pictures but I believe there should be four 'contacts' that also provide tension/friction to keep the bulb in place and one has broken off.
So essentially I'm just looking for the name of the part that connects to the internal wiring and that the bulb itself sits in so I can try and find a replacement (picture of part attached).
Thanks in advance for any information or advice!
NB The old bulb isn't blown and still sits tightly in the 'connector' but doesn't light up, however the new bulb which doesn't sit tightly (I believe due to the damaged contacts) will light up with the slightest whisper of anticlockwise rotational force....
