I bought a smashed donor vy to put the engine into my vt V6.
pulled out the VY engine & trans with the whole loom back to the ecu in 1 unit
Id like to run the vy loom & ecu in the VT.
There is 1 plug on the VY loom that replaces the 3 plugs on the VT drivers side,
The Vy loom mainly plugs into the PCM/ECU
Has anyone successfully rewired the VY1 plug to the VT 3 plugs, do the wires color co-ordinate, or marry up?
Thanks

Why do you want to use the vy PCM and harness? The VT PCM and harness will be plug and play, plus won't require the security to be reprogrammed to suit the vt BCM/key.

Yes i hear you,
Its a long story but im sure i have a dodgy wiring loom on the VT,
Ive had no end of trouble with the knock sensor circuit, retarding the timing, after replacing many new sensor including knock sensors, CAS, even the ECU
i ended up cutting knock sensor wiring at the ecu & rewired it to 2 knock senors sitting on the front seat, yes they are earthed, it still retards carrying on & logging DTC 43, knock sensor circuit,
Ready to put some tnt under the whole car.....
