VY ute fuel pump

my vy is having fuel pump issues, shudders at highway speeds and when taking of from a dead stop. looking at replacing the fuel pump my question is will a VX sedans fuel pump fit my Vy ute ( my old man has an old written off vx just want to know if they will fit before i dive into it)

Theoretically it should all be the same...

If you can access the fuel pump on the sedan, give your local dealer a call and see if they can cross reference the part numbers that are stamped into most genuine Holden parts...they should be able to give you an idea at least anyhow.

The fuel pump assembly is different from VX to VY. VY also have different fuel pump assemblies between series 1 &2.
