Hi. Where can I find images and explanations of the various symbols displayed by the computer in the event of a fault . Eg. "Check Powertrain" and "ABS Fault" are fairly obvious ,but others occur and vanish too quickly for me as a 78 yo.

I've got most of that information in the owners, or
workshop manuals. A scan tool would probably log them.

You haven't said what model or year it is. I've got most of that information in the owners, or
workshop manuals. A scan tool would probably log them.

Thanks...I'm very new at this. I have a 2005 VZ V6 S/Wagon. I'm trying to see what symbols or icons show up on the dashboard when the computer shows an akert .Thank you.

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
Owners manual has all that.

I should add that if any of those have appeared, there will be fault codes logged in the computer. A scan tool is needed to retrieve them. That will give a starting point for fault finding.

It’s odd they disappear though. Normally if one appears it can only go off the screen by pressing “mode” on the circular shaped button panel.
