VZ SS FE Springs

G'day,

I just got a set of VZ SS springs off ebay and when they rock up they have a barcode on them. The barcode's have a number and then "EL" on the front and "HK" on the rear set.

Are these proper Holden springs or have i been ripped and sold a set for an old HK and a ford EL? Not very good with these things.

if no one else can answer beforehand i will check what is on my set i have at home which i took out of my ss
out of curiousity are they for ute or sedan or wagon and how much did you pay
i have thought of selling mine but didnt think i would get enough to be worthwhile
will get back to you tomorrow with the details about the springs

i vaguely remember my rears having something like that on them when i replaced them, but im not sure what it was from memory.

you could call a holden dealer and ask them if the vz ss fe2 springs have those product codes on them ( i know partfinder which is what holden used to use has that listed,unsure if microcat has it )

How hard it it to change the springs? Fairly easy as long as you have one of those clamps?

Also does anyone know if i will be able to put SS springs into a stock ute without changing camber, shockers etc.

well i checked mine last night and here are the details

92048200 has HK printed on label

92048209 has EL printed on label

so all seems ok to me
