Spent about 3 hours on my daughters car today. It lives out in the elements and hasn't been washed for about 2 years. Gave it a wash , claybar , cutting compound on bonnet and roof followed by polish using dastool data polisher with 15mm throw followed by hand wax .
Could have spent another 3 hours as still needs more work.

Okay so you guys made me pull my finger out! Today I gave the car a wash and polish with Kitten Ultra liquid cut and polish. I used a woollen wash mit rather than the dreaded sponge to wash it down, and then dried it off with one of those green towels from SCA, finishing the job with the Kitten Ultra. Thanks guys for pushing me to do this. I knew deep down it needed to be done, and of course the results were as I expected.

The pic on the right was the first one put in my original post.
The one on the left was taken after the polish.
I’m not sure if you can see any difference, but obviously there is.

To me it looks like the picture on the right (250D1C41-F8B5…) is the after shot :p

Sometimes it can be hard to tell the quality of the polish in photos. If you do a Sandro type video and show the paint using a sun lamp, then paint defects are easier to see.
