im surfing around for parts, people are asking 299 bucks just for a pedal box, is that the asking price or r they dreaming lol. kinda hard to get im guessing. it had the master cylinder etc.

It isn't a pedal box. Each pedal is seperate, buy what you need. $300 is too expensive unless they are fancy HSV pedals.

malwoods might be the ones to talk to im thinking... bit of an expensive exercise but well worth it. the old 4speed just wont cut it

Clutch master, res, lines, pedals, buttons and bolts. That doesn't look too bad for the money.

real rough figure to convert my LS1 to manual, with good gearbox new clutch etc, it would have to be around 6 grand... plus a days work plus the tune etc. i could make a mean auto for that money lol...

My conversion cost $4k with a new clutch, new slave and new braided lines. My mates conversion cost $3k with a new clutch, and his included the loom.

It isn't that bad. In my case, it was cheaper than building an auto that could hold the power I need it to.

I think you should make/find a thread specific to your car/engine. LS1's are completely different.
