So i signed the deal. I am happy, i am sure i could have pushed and waited for different people to come back to me with their so called special prices, but i have come in under what i was expecting and i got the insurance and 5 year warranty so pretty happy.
Now just have to wait for it to be built as its only at stage 30

ssvr sedan auto
phantom black
hf20
tank of fuel
56,000.

Supercoach how long did yours take from stage 30. they are saying 2nd December for me. going to be a very hard wait of still driving a d22 navara!!!!

2nd December sounds right. I signed on the line on the 9/7 and the car was already at sequence 30 on 7/7. It then left the line on the 31/8, its roughly a 8 week wait, bit longer if your not in SA.

Hey guys I've been following the thread for a while as Im after a new VF2 SSV Redline, but was intending to hold out for a 2017 model as I'm in no rush.

What I'm after is:
2017 SSV Redline in Heron white
Black Roof,
Full Spoiler
Towbar
6.2 bonnet decal
Front Grille Surrounds – Black
Fender Vent Surrounds – Black
DRL Surrounds – Black
sports armour

I got a quote today, tell me what you think?

Do you think theres really going to be any benefit holding out until January for a 2017, or a limited edition?

I think I might post this here instead of the other thread....

Ive just got quote from another dealership. It too is a demonstrator but with only 40k's on it. Im really starting to think theres no point waiting until next year and this is too good to pass up. I'll probably go ahead if I can make them throw in some more accessories.

Should I be expecting the Insurance and 5 year warranty included? Previous demonstrator quote included the 5 year warranty wanyway.

Looks a pretty good deal. The main person that needs to be happy is you.

Personally I would be looking for a better deal for a demo, but with only 40k's its practically new. How old is it? (when was it registered/warranty start)

My only complaint would be the black roof ... have a look at it carefully, are you OK with the paint job? If yes, it's a nice car, gopher it!

All I can say is don't take it to those fools for service and warranty. Just a friendly warning.

Hi Guys, I've just put down the deposit on the second quote and got a couple more things thrown in!

Commodore SSV Redline - August 2016
Heron white
Black Roof
2100kg Towbar
Track Stripes
Front Grille Surrounds – Black
Fender Vent Surrounds – Black
DRL Surrounds – Black
Sports armour
Boot lip protector
Mats
Full Tank
Comprehensive insurance
5 year Warranty

$54990.00

The black roof is in fact bad. Theyve sprayed over the roof rack cover and its cracked at the join.

They explicitly said it will be covered under Warranty and Ive had it put in the contract that it needs to be inspected and resprayed properly.

That's actually how it's intended to be painted; good to hear they're happy to fix the cracks! :)

They said they were trading my car in for 11 000..so that would mean I paid 47 000 for SS
