Took off the right rear door trim on the Cruze today.
I'll tell y'all why.

In the drive through at KFC, waiting to order.
Daughter in the back seat with her bubby, me driving.

"I'll pay", she said.
"Cool", I said.
While we were waiting and with her window down waiting to order, Daughter was tapping her debit card
on top of the door trim.

"S##t", she said. "I've dropped my card".
"Duh, well pick it up", I said.
"I can't", she said, with panic in her voice. "It fell down inside the door"!!
("How convenient", I thought. "Now I'll have to pay".)

"How the hell did you do that"? I said.
"I dunno", she said....."Just happened".
'Bloody hell", I thought. "This is going to be fun".

Out to the car I went when we got home.
I thought to myself; "How the hell does one get this bloody thing off"?
After finding two hidden screws, I thought (and hoped); "This damn thing is probably held on with some sort of clip arrangement".

After gently pulling on the trim from underneath, I was right.....Just a few clips and the trim was off
and the card retrieved......Thank God.

So if anyone needs to know how to take off the rear door trims on the Holden Cruze, give me a shout.

Drove the car BACK to the mechanics this morning after only picking it up yesterday afternoon after having engine swap and engine mounts, etc done.

1 of Camshaft Actuator wires was completely cut through.. didn't work.. and the radiator bleed screw was done up so tight it snapped...

They were apparently fixed couple mins ago, going to catch bus and pick it up after work... sigh..

Stripped out the whole intake on the Senator just to get to the distributor (just kidding). Intake gaskets are farked. Gaskets were that bad that coolant had slowly leaked into the valley whilst the car has been sitting :(

Now all I have to do is clean it all up, rebuild the distributor (fit new hall sensor) fit and set with new cap/rotor and leads. Sort the wiring for the new ignition module and coil and then put the whole intake back. Think I'll replace all the hoses whilst it's all apart as they are fairly well caked with crap inside. Once all that is done, then I have to fit a new radiator and thermofan and wire all that up as well.

'09 Commodore/Pontiac G8 GT Sold. '17 Chevy SS
I rinseless washed it in the heated garage after first hosing it off. This winter is dragging on and my red car was turning pink from the road salt used to melt the snow. I also sealed all of the glass and put the shiny stuff on the tires while I was at it.

Of course after it snows on Thursday this will all be for naught but I'll be the King of the Parking Lot tomorrow at the office.

On a side note, this Holden of mine may be getting replaced if my wife has her way. She's in love with the Chevy SS (VF Commodore.)

VE SV6 MY9.5
Finally fitted the towbar the the VE, connected the trailer harness to the left rear indicator lamp, and thought... where does this extra Module go...
Trawled through various forums...
Looked behind the kick panel of the drivers side
Looked behind the kick panel of the passengers side
Looked through the boot, again.. not a connector to be found.
Drove out to get the Mrs from work.. Hey, my mirrors don't work.. WTH?

I finished putting a 20 inch LED light bar on the front. I ended up using one of those number plate type mounting brackets, i had to make a spacer to go between the bumper and the reinforcement bar so that i got a solid mounting point. Its only an ebay cheapy($80 delivered with a wiring kit that i had to slightly modify to make it legal). Looks good and doesn't impede air flow into the engine bay.
