replaced quarter window after some little pr--- broke into last night. The little pr--- bent the door frame and dug a hole through the rubber seals.
Next question is there a good place to buy new door seals

Changed tranny fluid. Damn what a filthy job. Also asshole mechanic that did it last time used a crap ton of gasket goo and managed to get a fair chunk of it on the inside of the tranny when fitting it back in.

Job took an extra 1-2 hours because I had to clean it all off.

^^ WTF? Gasket goo? That aint a mechanic.

Interior clean, pulled off the sheepskin front seat covers as they're old and a bit crusty.

The I cleaned the interior again, duh, friggin lint.

Managed to start it!! Sounds crude...but I completely flattened the battery a day or so ago and, after charging for a few hours, it would completely discharge when I turned the ignition on. Other strange things would happen: the park lights would come on automatically and the computer would buzz. But today, after an overnight slow charge it started so I took it for a 50km trip around Auckland. All sweet....

Fixed the drivers window.

Turns out the bloke down the "holden" wreckers doesn't know his parts!

Had a look, motor in a different place, oh well, then I find "vz" written lightly, almost rubbed off on the side, though, maybe they're the same!

How wrong was I......
Some mods to the inside of the door shell, modified plug, packed out the motor with washers, and, it works...

So, vt-vz window regulators fit vn-vs.....
With a lot of piss farting around!

Put a HSV Tander sunshade behind the windscreen in the sedan.
Drove the wagon.
Still has a small smell of burning oil..
