Painted entire console black, leather seats added, cup holders made! making the old vs ute look much nicer just need to do the consoles are rest.
also bought a new amp as mine had **** itself so i finally have some doof doof back.

broke my engine mount....4 years of trouble free driving then as soon as i make the old dunnydore my daily driver its needs work, now i need engine mounts, tailshaft centre bearing and a drive shaft and i just spent all my car money on a stereo, speakers and VZ seats.

Well today my car got taken off the road by a P Plater.

Standing at a T Junction, waiting for traffic to clear to turn right.

A Light truck was heading towards me on my right, to turn into the street I was on.
Soon as he got close, a Mazda 6 overtook him and steered into his lane and clipped my bumper. There was no way for him to see that I was there as the light truck obscured his view. He cut too quickly too close to the stop line where I was. (There is maybe half meter from the stop line to the main road)

As you can see, I have NO frontal impact damage, it's all just from the corner, he clipped me bad and ripped off half my bumper and took out my headlight.

As you can see from the other drivers car, it starts as a light impact until my bumper gripped in front of his rear wheel.

The young bloke was complaining as he had just had lowered his suspension, but was happy I didn't damage his old RIMs cos they don't fit anymore....

I only have third party, fire and theft on this car, so have to fight the S.O.B. now.

Cleaned and put the piping back on the compressor. It popped off during standard peacetime 'boost exercises' up Ginninderra Drive. Poor old fella in the Camry that happened to be right next to me (only other car on the road, dammit) must have **** as many bricks as I did, it's like a bomb going off.

Meanwhile for 5 minutes I was reminded how slow an N/A Emo really is. Ouch.

Drove the Fiesta to scenic part of town for run. parked it. Did run. Drove it home. parked it. drove it to uni. parked it. drove it home. parked it.

What else can you do to a 5 month old car?

Girlfriend decided to mention she has noticed oil under my car in the driveway for the past couple days and only tells me now.

Checked under car out front of her work at 2am .. yep certainly a leak.. and massive pool of oil sitting around sump.. seems to leaking from passenger side near oil filter housing.

Will check it tomorrow during the light... sigh.

Also chucked a flattened cardboard box under the engine to save from staining the driveway any further.

MMMM looked at ...made sure all was intact windows tyres and the like.....bought it some new wiperblades and replacement globes...wished it a good day

fitted a sony double din bluetooth stereo in the VX, 100% improvement over the stock stereo, i decided to fit it the right way and bought all the loom connectors and dash fitting kit and took me 30 mins, too easy
