wondered why it was idling eratically and randomly going high, and at other times when it would come down was going lower then normal idle.
had a think about it and thought it could be to do with the IAC valve.
then went hang on, it could also be some vacuum issue.
opened up the bonnet and had a look at the throttle body.

yup, the little hose that connects up to it was just sitting there.

now to find a perma fix.

Replaced a split radiator header tank on the Mrs's Cruze and finished rust sealing the rear floor pans on the HG.

I finished swapping my el cheapo 30W RMS Pioneer front speakers for a set of these
https://www.autobarn.com.au/6-inch-3-way-speaker-400w
Also went to some extra effort on the install to help the quality of sound

Finally after several revisions of my sound system components, I am now happy with the quality of sound.
I've gone through a couple of head units, 3 sets of rear speakers, 2 sets of front speakers and added an amp

Also tidied up some of the hoses and wiring on the engine after my recent alloy head upgrade.
Gave it a wash, taking it out for a decent drive tomorrow.
Then need to book it in to get the tune tweaked to optimise the alloy heads and increased comp

serviced the brakes. Cleaned and new grease applied. Working much nicer now.
