Cleaned IAC valve, after it started n kept cutting out. Not fun when you're cornering n engine stops. Felt like it was running on 3 clinders. So removed it. Gave it a wipe, n Bango Bingo. Idles smooth as F. Wish I did this years ago.

Had the car 18 years, just upgraded the factory head unit after falling in love with Android Auto in my wife's car. Factory 6 stacker has never played burnt cds, no phone connection etc etc.
Went with the Kenwood DMX9720XDS - The big one. With CMOS-740HD reversing camera and DRV-520 dash cam. I used the following to install:
1x Aerpro fp9056k install kit to suit holden
1 x Aerpro APP9KE7 Secondary Harness & SWC Patch Lead to Suit Kenwood

Wires not connected by default:
* Reverse wire - drivers side kick panel - light green with gold flecks
* VSS speed sensor - passenger side, unused plug behind glove box - purple with white trace
* Handbrake - center console, brown wire next to hand brake.

The Aerpro mounting flexes when you move the screen, it only has 2 screw tab mounts at the bottom front, so I took the dash apart and drilled the 2 top mounting screws through the plastic radio housing, you'll see what I mean if you want to do the same. With the top screws going through the plastic, holds it in there nice and firm.
Steering wheel controls work 100%. Gear stick is a little close to the screen in the odd gears, it's drivable (30mm gap maybe) but planning to mod the rip shifter shaft so it's more comfortable.

Gauges via Wireless Screen Mirroring and Torque Pro app with a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter. The touch screen on the head unit does control the phone which is cool.

Screen is a lot sharper than in the pics, just took some quick snaps with my phone in the garage.

Speaker upgrade on the cards.

Finally replaced the power steering cooler with a compact Derale unit. Only cost me a power steering pump and an engine bay full of fluid. When procrastination attacks...

That cooler is what I’ve been looking at. The barbs are 11/32 rather than 3/8ths so will that be an issue for fluid flow? The pipes from the rack and the pump are 3/8ths.

It's a .8mm difference on a low pressure flow, has zero impact :) just don't use the hose they provide

I see you have an alloy PS reservoir. Any chance of a photo. I bought one but it didn't fit into the clip very well/ at all.
Would be good to see how yours fits up.
