24, I drink heaps of free soft drink, point out common sense, handle kids that get badges and think they are tough, talk drunk people into leaving without hurting themselves and during the day I do my tafe work while pretending to listen to oldies war stories, and sometimes have to point out common sense to people.

I think they call one occupation security adviser and the other a firearms instructor / range manager.

Use to work in engineering.

I typically work in sales for a local family-owned chain of retail and wholesale tire centers, I am currently contracted to work in marketing for our partnering digital marketing firm for a wholesale project. Fun fact, my bosses' boss lives in Perth.

Electrical linesman, distribution.

Lineys make me sick! :p

From my experience, they just drive around all day with a trailer on and wash their dirty cars. They also get so much over time.

That's coming an Electrical Fitter, mind you ;)

If you don't mind me asking, who do you work for?

I practise the black art that is geotech engineering/rock mechanics for underground and open pit mines.

Except underground coal. I hate underground coal. Worked as an underground coal miner once in central qld so that may have contributed to my dislike of coal.

Basically my job is to study and characterise the rock mass, faults/joints/shears, ground stresses, ground water and to make a call whether the mining plans presented to me by the mining engineers will be stable or collapse. I also design underground openings and support regimes (bolting patterns, bolt lengths, cable bolts, split sets, shotcrete etc etc).
