Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
L67 would be a whole engine swap plus trans, PCM, k frame, loom and anything else required to upgrade. Simple bolt on would be a lot easier. It's commonly found on little Toyota Engines from memory... sort a bit small for a 3.8 petrol engine... may give a little more in the low and middle... but not enough to justify the costs...L67 is far easier and straightfoward.

I paid $350 about 4 years ago for a recoed SC14 supercharger.....So $800, he's dreaming....
I didn't think an Eco was a straight swap with a Buick. Not really, it's an Ecotec with a supercharger, so no k-frame swap, no PCM swap (you just need a memcal, and vs ECUs are cheap anyway), loom can be extended (although you are right it would be better to get the loom), gearbox is exactly the same as the regular V6 ones. Really you only need the engine. They came factory in the VS so it would be fine to use VS running gear, no linking necessary etc...
