Of course you can have both! Infact if your willing to play with enclosures and x-overs. It can work in your favour. But the 6x9s need to be amped and the sub will need a custom enclosure.

Yeah good point tasmaniak never thought of it like that. If they were only $20 to 50 more expensive i would still by from a shop. But when its 100 more and the service was **** no way.

Tasmaniak can you amp the front and sub and leave the 6*9 running off the headunit. And wont be playing with enclosures and x overs cos im new to this.

Then I wouldn't use 6x9s. If you choose to use a single 4 channel amp for fronts and splits... Just disconnect the rears altogether. They will start distorting and givig terrible sound long before the fronts or sub will.

Now i know why they charge so much. Im soooo confused. Probably just gonna amp the front and 6*9s and see how it sounds

It took a long time and a lot of hard work to know what I know... Lol
