2007 Ve Sv6.
Okay, so saw a couple of Sv6..

2006 semi auto, 45,000k's $20,000

2007 semi auto 52,000k's $22,500

Would appreciate some thoughts, as I don't think there is much difference between 2006-2007 models?

Thanks and enjoy the weekend.:beer chug:

Ok here are some thoughts.
If I were you I would not buy any of these earlier build cars (2006 2007 ) as there were too many quality control issues with them and you will now not have any Holden new car warranty left on them. Even with some of the later build cars quality problems were still not fully addressed. The early build cars are very attractive now because they are cheap, given that they have a 3 yr hit of depreciation.

Here is an example of what I am talking about and this one just popped up yesterday:
http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...problems-now-suspension-rattle-what-next.html

Scroll through the VE threads and you will find plenty of evidence of problems. That's the beauty of the forum.

You may not have the budget but IMHO you would be better off going for a late build 2008 or a 2009 car. Some of the quality/problem issues were dealt with in the later build cars and you will also have some new car warranty left if you buy a very late 2008 or a 2009 model.

Whatever you decide to purchase, make sure you have a thorough professional check done on the car before you buy it - even a lower km example. It's worth the cost.

Buy an auto unless you want to fork out big dollars for periodic worn clutch replacement. Servicing the auto by the book is a very, very much less expensive exercise. (For those that have done so, just ask people here how much they spent replacing their clutches in labour and parts charges).

Ok thanks guys, I am know even more confussed.

Sean880, has got me back to thinking 2008's. I looked at them from the start as they have the air bags in the back for the girls.

Was thinking if I got one for around 24k would be good.

But get a low k's 2006-2007 and I would have extra to spend on it and kids..

All we know is we've looked at everything from 7 seaters to station wagons..

But the 3.6lt sedan ve sv6 is what we have settled on..

The search will continue..

Great feedback....

Thanks..
