Hey guys I know I have been posting allot lately but I come across new things and I want to get it right, what would cause this lifter and cam lobe to look like this?

It’s a known issue with them mate, yours definitely isn’t the 1st and won’t be the last unfortunately if yours is an afm engine (L76,L77) then they are more prone to it

yeah it’s afm I have been looking up the lifter issues on these, the afm I great for long drives and saving on fuel but this seems to be the biggest problem with them, looks like the hydraulic lifters have a few ways to go,

Lifter failure which was common...replace with ls7 or whatever gun brand top builders use today & get rid of the dod shite if it still has it.

Warspeed or Westend Performance should set you straight.
