Agh the beauty of the search tool. just what I was after.

i'm trying to somehow hide it inside the door but the windows are quite annoying.
need to put them somewhere else i guess but i hate all the cable work

You can (apparently) hide them on the inside of the door trim itself. You will see on the back of the trim there is a bit of room where the arm rest is (behind the sound proofing crap of course). I've never done it myself but it seems to be the done thing

...... I' ve got my crossovers for my rear splits in the boot, i taped them ( yes tape again!!) .....-
:D I use Scotch 33 Biseal. A self amalgamating tape instead of soldering
it fuses to itself and is waterproof it is impossible to come loose ever
1 roll will last a lifetime of car audio installs

thanks.. i did that today. didn't need to mount it either because the sound proofing was really sticky, stuck right back on tightly gripping the xover - doesn't budge

wow havent seen this one in a while :)

i did end up installing them, my biggest issue was getting the wires thru the rubber gromets, which i ended up doin when i had a day off, and i mounted the crossovers on top of the footwell covers. sounds awesome with splits.
