Airbrushing is the art of using an AIRBRUSH!!! Totaly different to photochopping.
The airbrushing is usually done to real photos, but is a dying artform.
Photochopping is done on a computer and doesn't require talents like mixing paints and applying them.

Photoshop is the modern day airbrushing method. It comes with better results and is easier to do... I don't think anyone would still use the old airbrushing technique, its simply not worth the effort.

In any case, "airbrushing" is a broad term in use for tweaking and modifying photos to get rid of abnormalities, modify skin tone, remove blemishes etc etc.
