MY 9.5 SSV Sportswagon M6 & 08 prado D4D GXL M6
VZ V6 '04/'05 models excutive, acclaim and berlina 175kw. '06 172kw=loss of 3kw because of emissions regs i think. I carn't remember about SV6 and Calais (190kw) engine if it changed power figures. We have a 04 VZ acclaim and a 08 VE lumina in the family, and the VE fells alot more responsive than the VZ alot more than the claimed 10kw or so difference (VE 185kw i think?).
Cheers.

VE SV6 ute
The torque/power curves are marginally improved in the 195kw, transmisson and the gearbox are also better and the car gets better traction off the line with IRS and a decent suspension. It also has slightly better diff gears 2.83 vs 2.93? (not sure if thats exact), theres some other differences to do with cam phasing etc

I thought the omega were only 180kw... So whats the difference with the high output badge on my sv6? I know mine is 195kw apart form the obvious :hit:

Are they both high output/low output engines and do they have the same gearbox? A 4 speed VZ with single Variable cam phasing would get smashed by a 5 speed VE with intake and exhaust variable cams regardless of the extra weight
