There's no right or wrong profile for a particular wheel size. Think about all the Commodore owners running later model 18s that can't use 45 profile tyres because of scrubbing on the spring seat.

I reckon 18's MAX on a 2nd gen. I have 17s which are nice.

My vx with 18’s handles and drives so much better than my vs on 17’s. So much more relaxing to drive the vx.

Never thought it was that bad until I spend a while in the vx lol.

Yeah blokes that fly past me at 110 on the highway corners, with me feeling safer at 90 than the 100kph limit are often driving VE utes. Like EYY i thought the ute handled reasonably well.
