Will a 2010 ssv hardcover ute lid fit a 2010 sv6? And would it take much to get it back to plastic from black then get it sprayed silver?

As for respraying, call a panelbeater. Maybe $500

seriously though it should fit dont think they had any body changes in the ute from ssv to sv6, sand then prime, then paint, speak to a panel shop

Sweet, yeah I will take it somewhere to get sprayed, I can do some stuff but I will leave that to the people that get payed to do it

How easy will it be to get the wiring loom? And if the lock is the same as the old ute is it hard to change it to mine?

I think the loom connection is in the pillar at the bottom, not 100% sure will see what I can find
