saddistic bastard soop

Sorry but I fail to see how quickly ending the life of a suffering animal is sadistic. When a horse breaks it leg a vet will shoot it. Out on properties they also shoot animals that are very injured. Sadistic would be letting it lie there suffering and perhaps inflicting more pain by torturing it.

I had to put my cat down with a hammer
#### me thats just wrong.

I take it you've never seen someone bash a cat/possum/fox over the head with a shovel then. They either have no idea WTF just happened or they die straight away. It generally snaps their neck or causes such massive trauma to the brain that they have no concept of anything afterwards. Aside from strangling them what other option do you have unless you're going to take a mortally wounded animal to a vet and pay hundreds to be given a heart attack.

Seems like a few people need to leave the city every so often.

As long as the person wielding the hammer know what they are doing, its pretty humane. Hitting a cat with a hammer is like you getting hit in the head with a falling car, you won't feel a thing.

As for Soop with the .22 again that seems like a decent mercy shot to me. A dog getting run over by a truck, I'm going to say its rear was pretty FUBAR.

Yeah it was about 5mm thick off the ground... Poor bastard was still fully concious and aware of what was going on. Couldnt get the gun loaded fast enough.
And no he didnt feel a thing, the .22 just about sawed his head off from point blank. If that ever happened to me, I'd want someone to do the same damned thing. It was painfull just listening to him. (Fell out of a ute as a truck went past.)

Poor bastard. I agree if I'm flat from the stomach down, put a bullet in my brain too, because #### that I'm dying.

I have a mate who is a cop and more than once an animal has copped a bullet to the brain after getting hit by a vehicle. There isn't much you can do at that point, and a vet would agree. He told me once he had to get a vet to point at the exact place to penetrate a kangaroo (??? I think) skull, because of how hard they are, and because cop bullets aren't designed for penetration, being a soft point round.
