Sum1 must no how 2 do stand still burnouts in a vy v6 commodore?

-i can brake lock on wet surfaces, and dash beeps "check engine", why?

-i herd u can clamp the rear brake fluid lines and weld sumthing at the back?

-apparantly all u have 2 do is remove the "traction control" fuse but my executive doesn'y have one, the closest fuse i have is a "ABS and power assist" fuse?

Any advice or comments are welcome and appreciated.....

trac control fuse is wired up to the ABS and power steering and airbag i think (at least ABS), so if you pull it out you will lose a lot of stuff that isnt good to lose so be warned.

With traction control on you have no hope of getting a burnout done, best you can hope for is a bit of sliding around a corner (read: U-Turn with foot down slips the rear)

I just want one

you are kidding right, remove fuse, weld something at the back...yeah right, sounds like a good idea to me...NOT

if you want to hoon around, get yourself a Torana or something, not a V6 VY

just my humble opinion

If its an exec would it even have traction control? The most obvious way to tell is to look at the throttle body. If it has T/C, there'll only be one 'accelerator' cable. If there are two cables, the your car don't have T/C.

Also, if there's no traction control fuse ... well, guess what that means.

In VT/X/Ys it isn't as easy to bag 'em up off the line as it was for VN/P/R/S. The newer cars are heavier.

If you can lock 'em up on wet surfaces, then there's something wrong with your ABS. Get it checked.

The device you're looking for is called a "line locker". It is commonly used in (legal & off street HINT HINT) drag racing. Installing one in a street car will render the car unroadworthy as it disables the rear brakes.

If you don't have a Traction Control button you haven't got Traction Control.

Beat me to it. Yes people it really is that simple, no T/C button means no T/C.
