It saddens me that some find suicide the only way to out , I can't imagine the suffering Robin Williams was experiencing at the time of his death.

It's from 5 years ago. He wouldn't even remember he said it when he was in his state of mind. Who knows, I think a lot of suicides are actually just massive cries for help where they have no deep down intention of ending their lives but they go that split second too far. So, accidental if you will.

He's always had issues and struggled, I'd say that quote is a part of him trying to convince himself that suicide wasn't the way out just as much as anything.

Also early reports are there were two attempts.

Los Angeles, California: The iconic comedian Robin Williams made two attempts on his life in his final hours, according to details released by the Marin County Sheriff's Department.

A toxicology report will be conducted but will take between two and six weeks to be completed.

Mr Boyd suggested Williams had been dead for some time.

Williams had been seeking treatment for depression, Mr Boyd said. He would not discuss if Williams had left a suicide note.

Williams had been open about his struggles with alcohol and cocaine and in the past months had entered a rehabilitation centre to help him maintain sobriety.

But many questions remained over his final months and what could have led to his suicide.
