One of the family favs is a good basic stew. We don’t eat them enough.

I love winter. Beef and veg stew on regular rotation. With bread :p

If you have a stew or casserole without bread you aren’t having it at all.

And I thought @Fu Manchu was referring to the Dutch Oven related to farting in bed and then pulling the doona over your partner's head to share the joy.

We bought our pot just to cook this stew.

If you have a stew or casserole without bread you aren’t having it at all.

That's what will happen tomorrow. Will pick up some fresh buns from the shops. Nothing better. I always cook a huge batch, good for a few days or packed into containers and frozen for that emergency dinner.

Does anyone know why that is? Left overs are always better a day later.

Curry is better. Stew is better. Chinese is better. It’s all better.

How good is that. Mopping up the plate with some fresh bread. It’s one of life’s pleasures.
