The L98 might not have the same power as an LS2 but that was to do with the tune and the L98 being able to run on 91 petrol whereas the LS2 needed higher octane. When tuned the L98 put out 10 rwkw more than the LS2 with the same tune. They put it down to the L98 having better cylinder heads.
Ok, I didn't know that. Someone on here told me the LS2 will blow an L98. I have about 325rwkw, with Crow cam, OTR, 3" and headers.
Mine goes hard if you stomp on the go pedal. And it's enough to scare a passenger. But it no longer blows my mind, which is why I was saying you get used of it pretty quick. I guess I was under the impression that an LS2 would pull hard even with pretty light pedal? Whereas mine you need to give it a decent bit of stick to make it go well. Doing that though you can watch the gauge go down, at the rate of probably 30L every hour, hahahaha.
