when my gearbox was shaged it wouldnt do stand stills either. put the new shiftied box and 3.55 diff gears and problem solved. now all i gotta do is learn how to take me foot off the accelarator.( two speeds ,stop and flat out.)

have you got IRS?? and i think it does make a diff. logical it would because it will tryand level the car out which inturn makes the rear of the car dip considerably this puts much more weight on the wheels and thus makes it ahrder rto spin.

i got an auto, v6, s2 exec vs,17inch mags....mines spins too much...if i turn too sharp it starts spinnin lol....stand stills are easy...

increase tyre pressure to max stated on tyrewall

consider lower profile tyres if you can

nope, had aservice and new gear box only 2 weeks ago. im pretty sure the genral thing ehre si that most ppl with IRS find it hard to lay down a standstill. ppl with live axcel = no probs.
