Sounds like fuel vapour recirculation pipe is cracked... On passenger side behind Middle coil pack there is a solenoid and the pipe goes under the plenum chamber . Slide it out a bit and slide back the cover if it's split where it goes on to the solenoid fix with a bit of heat shrink... Had this issue with a few alloytecs... Drives you nutty

Give it a service, clean everything and check for air leaks.

Give the throttle body a good clean.
My LS2 was running bad and getting worse over time.
I looked up some old threads (2009) and Sonny from Autowerks said in one of those threads, just clean the throttle body properly and see what happens.
Well after cleaning with throttle body/carby cleaner everything is perfect at idle and even slow speed, on and off throttle is a lot smoother.

After putting up with rough idle for a year (trembling) I have just replaced the coils this afternoon. One of the rubber boots was damaged and had let water in, totally corroding it. Cost $350 for a set of six with a set of inlet gaskets. Job took half an ahour and I have very little mechanical experience. It is running like a dream now, can't wait to drive it to work tomorrow.

2006 VZ Commodore alloytec one tonner
mine shakes to shithouse when running on gas at idle. Im talking really bad.

On petrol you can barely feel it but it is still there.

I've taken it back to the gas place and they checked the whole system but couldn't find any problem with the gas system. The reason it shakes more on LPG is because gas is a much harder fuel to ignite so ignition problems show up a lot more. The gas guy seemed to think it would be spark plugs or coil pack....but i've had both replaced recently and the problem is still there!

Any ideas?
I have a VZ ONE TONNER on lpg on petrol runs great on gas it run ok when cold then runs up to **** . I’ve had it to a local garage that specialise in lpg . The system is a Zavoli and the computer read out said the system was good but the Injector rails were worn and need replacing. I haven’t been able to afford the new rails as yet . Replacement rails (Valtec type34 was suggested $617 so it will have to wait
