You can report people like that and which may lead to them to having their licence revoked... if they have a licence to start with.

Unfortunatly breeders are ethically allowed to put down ridgeless pups even though there is nothing wrong with them because its 'whats best for the breed'. However.. 90% of breeders will just desex the pup before its let go to a home and the pup is sold at costs ($500 rather than $1000-$1500).

I dont see how its ethical... i think its completely unethical... but they are allowed, it just seems very wrong to me

The guy is obviously not a great dog lover and is just in it for the money or maybe he is just one of those hardcore breeders that can only have the "best" in his litter, im sure someone would of bought them even if he sold them and a 1/4 of the price, anyway best of luck to you.. one thing i regret doign is taking my puppy to puppy kinder, because he seems to cower to strangers, has no problem when he approches them, only when they approch him, here is a recent picture of my pup :) ......

Thats a good looking pup you got there!! :)

Sorry to hear about your misfortune with the puppy kinder, for ridgies though puppy training is vital, theyre very stubborn so you gotta get onto it right away, plus its for socialisation with other dogs who are in the same position (before having their 12 week injection) but ive done a bit of research into where to take it, hopefully it all works out

Luckily,My dog came from the 90% of good breeders....He was born with 3 toes on one of his feet, bred from european champion dobermans, just a genetic thing....they had him desexed/docked/operation to give him full use of his foot,we just had to pay for it....still worked out a lot cheaper then $1800 for one with the right amount of toes.....heres a recent pic....loves the kids, dosnt shed, very protective of the house/yard.....

beautiful looking doberman, I love them, theyre such a good dog!

I'm glad to hear that they let the pup go to a good home even though it wouldnt win at a dog show.
