Save your money. You will never get a decent sound out of the Alloytec due to the cylinder firing sequence. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

your best bet is to take it to an exhaust specialist that has worked on plenty of VE 6's. Tell them exactly what you want out of the exhaust....power, noise, or a mixture of both, and see what they can suggest, possibly even making a custom one to suit your needs or standards (will obviously be more expensive)

X-Force are a pretty popular brand for exhausts on VE's, but i have heard that they cause a lot of cabin drone, whilst others have been happy with the result

good luck!

VE sv6 ute
Xforce 2.25" Catback. That's what i had on my 2008 SV6 Ute, it was really good.
ahh yer beutiful. how did that go performance wise? im just after a better note i really dont mind if it doesnt really affect the power. if it does both then thats ripper. as long as it doesnt make me lose power like my old el cheapo one off ebay on my vy. i wont make that mistake again haha.

Surprisingly enough it actually did boost my performance. I wasn't expecting it but as soon as I drove it after it was done I noticed a increase of power. I'd owned the ute for a while before i had it done so I could tell it had more go.
