I usually drink Bitburger, Warsteiner or Heineken (when I can get the non locally made stuff). Always have a case of each at home so I can pick and choose. Missus likes Corona so thats in the mix as well.

Little Creatures Pale Ale and Knappstein Reserve Lager are my favourite local beers.

Zywiec is a Polish beer that is absoutely tops.

My old man loves VB and I am slowly getting back into it after 10 years of not touching it!

Edit - worst ever beer I had was the Steinlager I tried on the way over to San Fran last year (flew Air NZ).

on another mote: made a beef and guiness stew last night. i know its not exactly beer, but as i was drinking the "leftover" bottles i was thinking "is there anything beer cant do?"

Aldi has had some wicked specials on beer in recent months. I picked up Hoegarden for $45 the other week, and they've had a few other good Euro beers then so it's worth keeping an eye on if you like your euro beer
