At 113 000 km's the car will not need any sort of 50 grade oil not unless the motor is rattling it's head off at the most it would require a 15w/40 or 10w/30 oil just go the best oil in the brand you prefer to use.use a 50 grade
holden only used 20/50 in both v6/v8 upto vts2 and with the ls1 v8 and that used the lighter oil so they put the same oil in the v6 less hassle for the dealersAt 113 000 km's the car will not need any sort of 50 grade oil not unless the motor is rattling it's head off at the most it would require a 15w/40 or 10w/30 oil just go the best oil in the brand you prefer to use.
What if your car doesn't have this magical book? After all, the VY is 16 years old and books seem to disappear with this length of time
As i do have the service book for my Berlina it is indeed 7500ks or 9 monthson here recommended ecotec oil change at 5k or 6 months holden VS service intervals is 10k or 6 months
vy could be the same as the vz 7500ks or 9months i still have both log books
