Did you notice the Smoke detector on the wall (ABOVE wall mount type) 6 of the most used Decoder I use have there own 100MM viable speed fan underneath the decoder ( 16mm MDF board cut out) to keep them cool, Yes for a old man that had 1 heart attack and 5 strokes even my doctor and my specialist cant understand how can I do this as the whole system is VERY, VERY Complicated. Now this is Nothing compared to our dedicated computer room for this Sat room as I have NOW 4 X i7 Computers. For a old man I even stump younger Smart Computer people (they think they are Smart) unti they have to deal with the Software that I use that is not Public but I had fun last week end as I had 3 RTX GPU's to test. 1/ was a gigabyte RTX 3080ti, with 10240 cores that cost around $1850, the Gigabyte RTX 3090 with 10496 cores that cost around $2800 to 3000 bucks , and the RTX 3090 ti with 10752 cores cost around $ 3500.
Now considering I use to have RTX 3060 ti that has 4864 cores and now I'm using RTX 3080ti's thats a big jump in cores. because bang for your buck the 3080 ti is the best for $$$$ as I notice the 3090 and the 3090 ti didnt give me more speed. The dude I got the GPU's said You must be Mining, I said No, I'm number crunching. Cant wait until I test the RTX 4090 that will have 18500 cores.
